1. Who can apply?
We welcome native English-speaking teachers who are friendly, reliable, professional, and comfortable teaching students online.
Teaching experience is welcome but not necessarily required. We consider each applicant based on their communication skills, teaching potential, personality, and suitability for online 1:1 lessons.
2.What are the teaching hours?
Our teaching hours are generally 5:00 PM–12:00 AM Korea Standard Time (KST), Monday to Friday.
Our peak teaching hours are 5:00 PM–10:00 PM KST, Monday to Friday. These are our busiest hours, and we are particularly looking for teachers who can consistently commit to this time.
3. Do I need to commit to a regular schedule?
Yes. We work with students who attend regular weekly 1:1 classes, so consistent availability is very important.
Teachers should only confirm teaching hours that they can reliably commit to on a regular basis. Once your schedule has been confirmed and students have been assigned, you are expected to maintain those confirmed teaching times.
4. What kind of students will I teach?
You will mainly teach Korean children of different ages and English levels through personalized 1:1 online lessons.
There may also be opportunities to teach teenagers and adults, depending on your suitability, experience, and available classes.
5. How long are the classes?
Our classes are generally 25 or 50 minutes long, depending on the student's program and requirements.
The class length and schedule will be confirmed with you before a student is assigned.
6. What platform do you use for classes?
All lessons are conducted online through Zoom. Teachers will be provided with the necessary Zoom meeting details and access information for their scheduled classes.
7. Are teaching materials provided?
Yes. We provide high-quality teaching materials and lesson resources when required.
Our materials are designed to support effective lessons while allowing teachers to focus on interacting with and teaching their students.
8. What equipment do I need?
You will need:
- A reliable computer suitable for online video classes
- A good-quality microphone or headset
- A webcam
- A stable and reliable internet connection
- A quiet and suitable environment for teaching
Teachers should also have a backup solution available in case of power or internet outages.
9. Do I need to complete a demo lesson?
Selected applicants may be asked to complete a short demo lesson as part of the recruitment process.
This allows us to see how you communicate with students and how you approach an online lesson.
10. Is this a long-term teaching opportunity?
Yes. We are looking to build a reliable, long-term teaching team.
Teachers who demonstrate strong reliability, professionalism, and consistency may receive additional regular students and teaching hours as opportunities become available.
11. How are teachers paid?
Teachers are paid through PayPal according to the agreed payment schedule.
Payment details and the applicable teaching rate will be confirmed with each teacher before they begin teaching.
